Just another day...

ok, so I think I should change the name of my blog. It's not all about peace love and laughter... I wish it was...it sounded good at the time though.
Anyway, so over the course of the months of February and March...lots of things happened. The first week of February, my daughter got the flu...so not kewl! Then a couple weeks later she had a cough for two weeks...so now kewl again...so I took her to the dr and she was put on amoxicillin. Well during the course of her taking that medicine her cough got better and went away...then we went to my Grammy and Poppop's house and we wake up Sunday morning and my child has spots... lots and lots of spots!!! I went downstairs and showed my grandparents without trying to jump to conclusions. Chicken pox would have been very bad because my Grammy was getting over a concussion and she is 70 and never had them before...so Poppop took Emilie and I to urgent care. Yay...not really. They tried to tell me it wasn't an allergic reaction to her medicine and that it was might be scarlet fever if she got a fever..but she didn't think it was chicken pox, or maybe it was measles...but we left urgent care with a prescription and luckily as soon as she started taking it the spots started going away. Now I was a little upset that the dr completely dismissed an allergic reaction so I called my dr and told her what was going on and she confirmed it was an allergic reaction. Grrrr... crazy people at urgent care!!!
Blah...

It's good to be back home though. I missed my bed. It's kind of crazy sometimes because I love going to visit my grandparents. I love them so much!! But I love coming home too. I just wish there was a husband here to come home to :( 54 more days and I will get to see him for 2 weeks. Then he is gone again until November. I miss him....not kewl :(
