Yesterday....

Yesterday was my 25th birthday. Kind of crazy thinking I am a quarter of a century old :) But that's ok. I'll take it. With age comes wisdom right? At least I hope so haha. It was a good day. Emilie and I went shopping for spring/summer clothes and then we went to the beach :) I love the beach... I love the sound of the waves crashing against the sand and I love the sounds of the seagulls. It's just a very moving experience to me. To see the vastness (is that a word LOL) of the ocean and see it never ending. When I go to the ocean I feel so much closer to God. To me it's like how He loves us... it's never ending...when I see the ocean, that's what it reminds me of. It's amazing :) The ocean is so calming and soothing...
It was nice to let Emilie play in the sand. She decided it would be fun to bury my feet in the sand and I didn't mind. She is so silly :) We also put our feet in the water and it was FREEZING!!! but it was good and we did it a few more times lol...we tried to find some sea shells but we didn't have the best of luck. Overall it was a good day though. It would have been better if my husband was home...but Afghanistan is where he has to be so I have to deal with that. I miss him though :( It was another birthday that he couldn't be here :( On a happier note we only have around 2,500 left in credit card debt. Compared to what it was, that is awesome :) I'm pretty proud about that :)
Well, not much about losing weight for this blog...I've been trying to be mindful of my calories but not really counting a whole lot. Just trying to get my brain straight...blah...
